Let his new Mom name him " Lance, " and his new Dad, give him every chance. Smile down my God, on my baby boy, fill his heart, with Your Son's joy. Fill him with Your Spirit, save his little soul, Make serving You, his most important goal. Send him friends to stand by him, in his darkest hours, let them share his deepest pain, when it seems to tower. And God, if ever I come to mind, let his thoughts of me be kind, only You can make him know, that I really love him so, and I need him in my life, for this only do I strive. I'm undeserving, this I know, but dear God, I want him so. I need to see his precious face, and see if there may be a trace, ................. of me. Irene*
