Sorry TG. But I could have been dreaming a little longer about NPH, yet I was at work while you were dreaming, LOL!! And no, I didn't want to share him, in fact, I was having a hard time believing he wasn't gay, LOL!!!

Ryan Gosling.... in the Notebook, yay!!! Don't think I saw anything else he was in.

Which reminds me, I've had the Departed for about 200 years, I need to watch it and get it back to Netflix, LOL!!! I think I've already seen the next 5 movies on my queue on cable already!!!!!!!!

Ohhh...now don't knock Detroit... Only Detroiters can knock detroit... There's actually some really great restaurants, theaters, museums, etc. downtown. You just need to build up the nerve to get to some of them.

There's so much that I read on here that I wanted to respond to, but my brain has turned to mush today thanks to a WICKED day at work...

Lipgloss is my favorite. I generally have anywhere from 10-20 in my purse alone...I don't like to shop, but I LOVE to collect lipglosses...I also collect crucifixes and saint medals (hmmm...Wonder what my imaginary vampire friends would think of that?)

I have an unhealthy obsession with all things Holocaust related - my Grandparents were in Auschwitz and have been trying to get their records from Germany.

Along with my major crush on George Clooney, I ALSO love David Beckham and...don't judge...Hugh Grant. Minus the Divine Brown incident.

I have a horrible habit of touching my hair on a constant basis and say "SERIOUSLY" waay too much.

I have random music taste - Dean Martin and Kenny Chesney are my faves.

Alot of people don't like my sarcastic humor...but so far, I don't think I've offended many people on here, so I'm either very well behaved, or my friends IRL are just too darn sensitive.

I know I already took my turn, but this is strangely liberating!

Isn't it tho! I watched this thread all day itching to reply (iPhone not conducive to long thread replies, LOL!) and when I got the chance, I was overwhelmed!

Def not knocking Detroit! Did not see much of it tho, I went 10 years ago, so I don't know if there was much to see. Plus it was July 4th, not much going on there then!

Hugh Grant circa Notting Hill, I can see that.....

And seriously? I like seriously say that way too much !

I happened to see Hugh Grant on Inside the Actors Studio (oh yeah - did I mention I was a giant nerd?) and he was SO charming...and FUNNY!!!

Ever see Love Actually? I LOVE him in that movie.

Someone told me they were going to buy me a shirt that said SERIOUSLY. And apparently my 2nd most overused phrase is "You're an idiot".

Sigh...

ETA: You should see that "corner" of Detroit NOW brown...There's Ford Field too!!!

Brown - I promise not to take my snakes out around you! Glad you like the name - I've always been found of it!

LOVE Buffy and Angel!! Got my kids watchin the 1st season of Buffy and Sasha is dying for me to get the rest. We were watching Bones and my ever alert son says "hey that looks like Angel!". Yup got em watchin the good stuff! And hey - Sasha was named after a vampire on Kindred the embraced. Any one else remember that one?

I like beets but only ever had the canned ones. No one else likes em in my house. And I was raised on more convienence food than good ole home cookin.

Love to go to vegas! Think i'll pass on the strippers tho...How bout a hot tub and those drinks?

D: I dated someone once who had a boa that sat in a cage on his TV entertainment center. Everytime I walked in that house, I looked right at it to make sure it was still there. I walked in there on New Years Eve, and it was gone. I thought that they got rid of it. Nope, it was "lost" (or loose!) It was too early in the relationship to be a wussy pants, so I coped by drinking a lot so I wouldn't think about it. Turned out it was hanging out in the hole in the center island of the kitchen right where I was standing all night I would have fainted dead if it made an appearence!

That relationship was doomed from the start!

Love I have seen Love Actually, and I kind of fell asleep! I did like his character tho, I think I need to watch it again.

Oh, I love lip gloss too

I'm obsessed with my Netflix queue! I'm all about documentaries!!

I go to a lot of nerdy movies (think all the comic book ones) at the midnight showing with this very strange group of nerd friends that I have. I don't understand how/why we're all still friends, but we are!

SO, while you were dreaming of NPH Brown, I likely hadn't gone to sleep yet! (I only slept from about 6am EST to 9am EST last night!!!!)

The way I see it, I'm probably going to be miserable at work in the morning anyway, so why not go out the night before and at least be miserable with some awesome memories!?!?!

dklevy - I'll pass on the strippers as well...I had a bad experience once...

At my bachelorette party, my bridesmaids hired a stripper. He came in, was big and beefy (and not in a good way) and had a friggin curly mullet! (Thanks ladies...SOOO my type.)

Anyway, I was grossed out and said "Let's just get this overwith". He was so gross that while he was dancing, he sat on my lap and got sweat stains all over my silk shirt and pants.

N..E..V..E..R AGAIN!

ETA: And TG - I was in such a mad rush to leave work today, that I left my book at the office!!!

back to topic - chippendales are NOT like regular strippers. They're not all up on you (well, unless you volunteer! haha) and all icky like! It's like a stage show, without a lot of clothes, haha

And LoveMy! I am DISAPPOINTED in you!!!

Nope, it was one of those after the alarm/pre getting out of bed dreams. So it was likely after THREE AM PST (tsk tsk!)

I told my b-maids there would be NO STRIPPERS at my bachelorette. They balked and I told them SERIOUSLY (lol) I will not be happy. So we went to an 80's club instead Like, totally awesome!!!

Earthquakes.... so not my thing. I'll take my one hurricane a decade anyday (hurricane party!!)
