Wondering why
... it would take 3 months to tell someone that you are stopping visits?
Why did I have to wait 3 months to hear this? Why did I have to wait 2 weeks after I sent a note to ask for a visit to hear this? Why did I have to hear that my open adoption just became a semi-open after our last visit 3 months ago? I know this doesn't make any sense what-so-ever but I am hurt. I am angry. I don't know who to direct this anger to. I don't want to direct it to anyone. I just want to feel like a human again. Like a worthy person. A person with confidence (has been gone for awhile now). A person who doesn't have to put on the smile and say all is well.

I'm really sorry to read of this. No words as usual as I haven't been in your shoes. Also not knowing all the details behind your relationship I can only go on what you are saying. 3 months to let you know that the dinamics have changed seems very long to me. I go back to the old word of communication and it can mean the world in a relationship. I hope things change for you but until then I wish you peace.

I have heard this story way too many times before and it is just not fair. I know there is nothing anyone can do to make this better for you but know that there are aparents out there who think it's totally wrong to do something so cruel. I don't understand it. So sorry.

First mom to the amazing Kiddo and adopted adult. 1-4-2009 Mom and I visit Kiddo despite the bad weather. He really loved the blue mittens I made him and even helped me plan my living room. Apparently Hot Wheels wallpapper is the way to go. 2-16-2009 I got a promotion, that comes with a raise. Mom and Dad are visiting and we're going to Al's for pie to celebrate. 4-27-2009 Dad surprises me with a Lady Ugly Stick (an awesome fishing rod that is pink) and a 2nd Iowa Light Artillery Battery jacket. I'm a lucky girl! 5-30-2009 Kiddo turns five. It is hard to believe he is that old already, it seems like just yesterday he was being born. I was at peace for the first time on his birthday, what a nice feeling. 6-13&14 2009 A cannon live fire in Casper WY. We got third place and I got to see Devil's Tower for the first time, it was pretty awesome. 7-4-2009 Amelia the kitten comes to live with me and Liz. Talk about jealousy, Liz will adjust though.

I was asked if I noticed how weirded out Supergirl was at the last visit? No I didn't see anything. I saw a toddler, laughing, asking questions, being shy. Like every child I have seen.
If weird is her telling me that I had to wait while they get their coats on? If weird is her telling me that I parked too far away and I had to park closer? This was the weird behavior Supergirl was showing?
