Oh, great idea....

My favorite adoption-related books to read to DD:

1. A Mom For Choco;

2. Tell Me Again About The Night I Was Born;

3. A Blessing From Above;

4. Brown Like Me; and

5. How I Was Adopted (though DD chucked this one across the room when I got to the word "uterus" the other day!).

As a cauc parent with a biracial (AA/cauc) DD, I also highly recommend, "Does Anyone Else Look Like Me?" which is an adult book and not adoption-specific, but really helpful.
