Questions to ask Birth Parents
Hi,
We are the adoptive parents to three beautiful children. The children were placed in foster care for some time before we were able to become their family. Recently, we learned that they have a baby sister who is foster care in another state. After talking to the baby's sw, she asked if I would be willing to speak with the birth parents. I would love to open the lines of communication with them. We may not be able to talk much or have as open of an adoption as I feel would be beneficial to our children. So I feel like I should make the most of this opportunity. What questions should I ask? I don't want to interrogate them, but I want to have information for my children when they start asking questions. Thanks |
