Question for adoptees in open adoptions

Hi all, I'm a birthmom to a 2 year old. We have an open adoption. I was wondering, for those of you in an open adoption, how do you feel about your adoption situation? I've been trying to picture my relationship with my dd in the future. Is it easier for you to have your birthfamily in your life? Or is it harder?
