Hi all!
I am Paula, I live in Bellefontaine about a hour north of Columbus. I am a reunited adoptee going on four years now. I also work at the crisis pregnancy center and have ties in adoption this way as well.
Has any one else heard of Dr. Allen Carter? Apparently he is a Adoption therapist who deals only with member of the Triad... Bmom issues, child issues, RAD issues, adoptive parent issues.... you guys can get my jist....... any way just wondering...

My name is Paul. I'm 34 and line in Michigan, near Kalamazoo now with my wife and 3 kids! I was born and adopted in Columbus back on March 3, 1973 and I'm looking for my b-mom and 2 half brothers.

P.S. My mom says she'd like to meet my b-mom someday to thank b-mom for giving her a child.

Welcome Paul. Your mom sounds pretty cool. I'd love to meet my son's bmom too. We have a semi open adoption, but I have never met her. He is so amazing and beautiful, I can only imagine what she must be like!

Help finding birth parents
My name is Tom and I was adopted through Franklin County Catholic Social Services. I was born at Riverside Hospital on May 2, 1982 and am now trying to get in contact with my birth parents. However I havent the slightest idea how to go about this. Could someone help me out?

My husband and I are from Columbus and are interesting in adopting a child from FCCS. We have 3 biological children, 2 girls ages 9 and 6, and one boy at age 4. We would love to add to our family. How was your experience?

My experience
with Franklin County was good. All 3 of the children we adopted were foster children with us. Our adoption caseworker was WONDERFUL! Only complaint I had was with the lady from the subsidy dept. She didn't speak much English & was extremely rude! Other than that we didn't have any problems. GOOD LUCK!

Hi all... if I am not too late I'll add my info. LOL We adopted our daughter Natasha in 2003. She was 6.5 then, now she is 11 (will be 12 in June).

She is a great kid, very sociable and a very happy girl. We are older parents. We live in Sawmill/161 area. We gave her a lot of love and attention and are rewarded now.
