Dear Janet,
I found my birth daughter a little over a year ago. We have been looking for her birth father for almost as long. I have been sending letters to his mother's house, but she's been returning them. The lady that helped me find our daughter called his mother's number once, and his mother was QUITE beligerant.
His name is Lupe Frank Garcia, his birthdate is 9/17/51. His mother, Trinidad Merx, lives in Arvada, CO. I have no address for him, and she apparently is not willing to forward my letters to him. She did keep one of the letters...I had taped a picture of our daughter to the outside of the envelope.....she kept that one. I'm certain that if Frank knew about his daughter, that he'd want to have a relationship with her.....he was a good man. When I left him, I didn't know I was pregnant with his child. I was the fool.

I'm posting on behalf of a friend who would really like to find her birth parents. She was born (prematurely) on 2/14/1965 in Colorado Springs and is pretty sure that the adoption was handled through Catholic Charities. I've looked on several of the Colorado registries, but don't see anyone that 'matches'. I plan to contact Catholic Charities tomorrow, but got on here and saw "...info, no charge" and thought I'd give it a shot!

I have birth mothers maiden name and what I believe to be her age . I have found a male (possibly brother )from high school yearbook East High Pueblo in 1960 online Birth mom probably would have been in class of 1956,1957 or 1958. Adoption handled in Illinois through Catholic charities but I think she was in a home for unwed mothers in that city. Not unusual in 1959 for birth moms to be sent away.
Probably a long shot but wondering if any angels in Pueblo that might be able to find earlier yearbooks for me.Or more info on family. She also had a brother who died in his teens according to non-identifying info

Looking for my husbands birthmom. He was born in Tulsa, ok at the salvation army home for unwed moms. From what we have been told, she was young and still in high school when she gave birth to him, she had TB, and she kept him for around 2 weeks, if not longer before she had to give him up. We do not know if christopher was the name given to him by his birthmom or not. Since records are sealed in OK, we have very little to go on. We are pretty sure that it was a private adoption. He was born on 12-01-70

I gave birth to a babygirl on June 7, 1967 at Denver General Hospital aka Denver Medical Center. She is bi-racial and I named her at birth "Chevette Rene Thomas". My family and Social Services talked me into giving her up for adoption. I never wanted too give her up but as young as I was felt that I was brainwashed in doing so. It took me more then 30 days to give her up. I should of never gave her up. I regret it to this day. The Social Workers name is Mrs Richardson, she is probably retired or dead by now. She did tell me she was adopted 3 months later to a couple out of Nebraska (so she says) and they were a bi-racial family as well. Can you help me please! I don't have any money to find her and hope that God will let me find her with the Love that I have for her.
