psych eval question

I have a quick question about psych evals that I'm hoping maybe somebody could answer. We had a psych eval 2 years ago when we were preparing our dossier to adopt our daughter. We had to take that super-long Minnesota Multiphasic personality test plus complete lots of family background questionnaires, ect... We are now working on adoption # 2, and we met with the same psychiatrist today that we saw 2 years ago. He seemed to feel like it would be a waste of time/ money to have to repeat all of that same testing, (since it's obvious to him we haven't all of a sudden developed schizophrenia or something!) and he just wants to update his previous report (after interviewing us again and covering all of his bases). Do you think that's OK, or will the Casa/ICBF expect that we have all of the same testing done all over again? For those of you that have adopted twice, what did you have to do for your second psych eval (assuming the same person completed it)? Thanks for your help!

I would think that a second new report is needed, specially because there was a HUGE change in your life during all this time (like having a beautiful daugther??).

However, I'm sure your agency will be able to answer this question much better.

We just had our report redone in February. We were told that Colombia only wants a one page report saying you (as a couple) are still in good mental health. We did not have to redo the testing.

I just reread your post. I am not sure about a second adoption. You will have to check with your agency.
