Day One!
I only have a moment because - well - we are all pooped out! But I wanted to share with you all here that our Day 1 with our new larger family went GREAT!
Of course we had the bumps in the road we were expecting with the kids, but overall, things are going great! I have to give much credit to ICBF, and especially the fantastic psychiatrist and social worker that worked with our children and wrote the reports. They were right on about everything: personalities, needs, desires, likes, dislikes. The kids were pretty well prepared and had, what I thought to be and incredible understanding of our family and the adoption process. My husband is uploading pictures to our blog as I type...and then we collapse into bed. Bedtime was a fiasco - I'm not sure if the kids had ever had a hot shower, they were so excited and that created quite a commotion which lead to them not getting settled down. : ) Hopefully all five of them will sleep late tomorrow! Either that or I'll need lots of coffee.  Good thing we're in the coffee region!Maybe later I'll update my signature...after sleep and lots of coffee.
