Referrals - Timelines

We are in the process of starting the Colombian adoption process My question is: how many folks were of Colombian descent and how quickly did these referrals come?

How many folks out there are not of Colombian descent (like us) and what did these timelines look like? I am really interested in what timelines look like for non-Colombian PAP's. Thanks!!

I was just wondering if you are planning/considering adopting through ICBF or one of the Casa Privadas? I think that would make a difference in the length of wait time.

I can give you our information for our first two adoptions if you'd like, but we adopted through Ayudame in Bogota for those and the wait times were drastically different than through ICBF, and they are also very different than Ayudame's current wait times. Wait times in 2005 and 2006 seem to be different than they are now for Ayudame. From what I have heard things at Ayudame have slowed down this past year.

By the way, congratulations on your recent adoption from Guatemala!
