Congratulations to everyone who has gotten referrals lately!! I love reading everyone's stories!!
I was just wondering if anyone could answer this one....We came home with Alex on March 6. About a week later we received an envelope from USCIS...I knew it was too soon to be his citizenship certificate!! They sent us our sentencia and abandonment decree fron ICBF and requested that they be translated into English. Luckily our agency did that for us! We returned everything to them a few weeks ago. Has anyone else had this happen? Does anyone know how long it will take to get his Citizenship certificate after they receive all the translations? Also, is that certificate neccesary to get him a Soc Sec #? We live in Florida. Any info on this will be appreciated!! Thanks Yvonne |
