171H fingerprint renewal

Our 171H fingerprints will expire in August. Does anyone know the procedure to get these renewed?

renewal

Ours do too! This is what my agency said to do. I hope it helps.
To ensure that your I-171h does not expire you will need to write a letter to your USCIS office. The letter must have the full names of everyone who will be re-fingerprinted (everyone age 18 and over living in your home); dates of birth and address. Give clear contact information: email; phones, and address. Write a statement giving the USCIS the dates that your fingerprints will expire and indicate that you are requesting an appointment to have them re-done; send a photo copy of your original I-171H approval document; indicate that you are requesting the one time fee waiver to have the prints re-done and the I-600A re-filed.

Send the request via certified mail or FedEx so it can be tracked.

Once the update is complete, you will submit an original of it plus a copy of the original home study, along with a new I-600A form to the USCIS. On line 10, where it asks which agency will be locating an orphan for you, be sure you list Commonwealth. Indicate in your cover letter that this is your one time free I-600A extension.
