I know! I try to imagine what that time between referral and travel will be like, but I just can't even wrap my mind around it!

Thanks guys!! Still feeling like crap but somehow managing to struggle through. Been doing laundry, baby proofing, last minute errands in between naps on the couch.

2 of us are packed...and one of them is not me. Really really hoping my boss sends me home early tomorrow so I have a little extra time to get things done. Our ride comes about 7 am on Tuesday so there wont be much time to do anything then.

We will be arriving in Medellin around 6pm Tuesday night. We are planning to stay there until the Nov 25th and then head to Bogota until Dec 1st. My parents are coming down from Oct 31st to Nov 5th. And I know we have holidays on the 5th and I think 2 weeks later to contend with. So all totalled we will be there about 5 1/2 weeks.

One of my coworkers and his family will be on my flight back from Bogota. Our families haven't met so its rather funny that we will all meet in Colombia rather than Atlanta (where they live about 15 miels from us).

I am also very excited to meet some other adopting families that I have met online along the way. I know there will be at least 2 that I will get to meet in Medellin and I am hoping I can meet at least 1-2 in Bogota as well. We aren't really staying at any of the typical places for adopting families so that will hinder chance meetings. But we will have a car and driver in both so we will be mobile.

I am planning to keep the blog updated while we are gone and can't wait to share photos!

I am feeling better, thanks. Not yet 100% but better!

We are finishing up our last minute prep and our ride to the airport comes in about an hour and a half! Keep your fingers crossed that Delta will check our bags all the way to Medellin! Otherwise its going to be lots of fun at the Miami airport.
