We're with World Partners Adoption. We have 2 bio boys (Jake-6,Tyler-8 and we're adopting a little girl 1-2yrs. ICBF approval 8-18-04 Waiting.....

Finished paperwork and 171H 5/3/06 Referral!!! 5/7/06 171H: 5/3/06 DOB: 4/28/06 DOR: 5/7/06 POA in Guate.: 5/16/06 FC In: 6/2/06 DNA: 5/19/06 Match: 5/30/06 PA: 6/20/06 FC Out: 7/28/06 PGN In: 8/9/06 KO 8/30/06 Back In: 8/30/06 October 06...lost referral...Sofia's mother took her back. October 06...accepted new referral of Raquel... November 06...let Raquel go...pulled my adoption request.. Life has not been easy since this journey... my heart remains in Guatemala! Wow, there are a lot of new folks. Thanks for starting this thread Chris. It is also interesting to see how many families entered the waiting list around the August/September 04 range. We will be coming up soon, I just know it!

First - please excuse my english. I read and talk better than I write... ;-) ICBF has pased out a list to adoptingagency telling when those who has been waiting longest for a regional refferal was apporved. 02/22/05 the list was like this: 0-1 year: july 04 1-2 year: april 04 2 year: mars 04 3 year: april 03 2-3 year: aug 03 3-4 year: mar 03 4 year: nov 02 5 year: sept 02 4-5 year; may 03 5-6 year: may 03 6 year: may 03 7 year: sept 04. This means that everyone apporved earlier than july 04 for a child 0-1 year has got a regional refferal by 02/22/04. And everyone approved earlier than april 04 for a child 1-2 year has got an regional refferal. Cecilie :-)

Waiting
Hello!
We are Josh & Erika- We sent our dossier to Colombia in November 2004, received ICBF approval February 14, 2005. We are waiting for our first child, and were approved for an infant 0-1. So glad we have so much support during this time!
