Interview with birthmother 1/13
I have seen many posts in which people have come here for prayer and support. I was wondering if any of you would keep us in your prayers tomorrow. We are being interviewed by a birthmom - she is also interviewing 2 other couples. We went through this process with our son, who is now 3, so the process isn't new, but we are still nervous nonetheless. I just pray God will put peace in this bmom's heart with whatever family she chooses... and that I can keep my nerves in check! God has worked in mysterious ways this past year regarding our hopes for a second adoption; I can only imagine how this situation will turn out! Thanks in advance for any prayers sent our (and this bmom's) way.

Couldn't be happier!
Hello - Thank you so much to those of you who kept us and the potential birthmom in your prayers. The meeting went as well as it could go - I was so nervous, but she was very warm, friendly, and easy to talk to. We left knowing she was undecided and felt the weight of her decision. It was a long night and morning - I kept going over the conversations in my head wondering if we said anything "wrong".
Well, this afternoon we got the call that she indeed had chosen us. Talk about a wonderful day! My head has been spinning ever since! Thank you again for your support. I just needed to feel some extra prayers yesterday. Anyway, I wanted to let you know how things turned out.

Linny - Wanted to answer your questions. Birthmother is 35-36 weeks along, I guess they are not exactly sure when the baby is due. We are going through the same agency that we adopted our son from and most of the girls come from the general area of the agency, which is about 1.5-2 hours away. Not bad at all. It sounds like she will even let us be at the hospital when she gives birth!
Anyway, I am still praying for all of you that had posted prayer requests that you will be blessed soon! Please let me know if any of you hear news!
