trying not to get too excited

We have been waiting with a private attorney for almost 5 months. Just this past week someone who works with my mother approached my mom about her nieces children. The bmom is in jail and bfather is on his way. The boys have been with the grandparents, but they are too ill to care for them anymore. The Aunt thinks the boys need to be adopted because no one can care for them properly. My mom gave her our attorney's name and number to do all through them. Yesterday she brought me pictures of the boys, age 2 and 3. I am not sure what to think. I am trying to remain level headed. I am not sure if it is wishful thinking of the Aunt or if they are free for adoption. I so badly want to be a Mom. Yet I know God's timing is perfect. Thank you for listening and advice you can give.
Thanks
AJ

You know......you just never know when the timing is 'right' and the Lord says, "ALL SYSTEMS GO>>>>>>>ALL SYSTEMS ARE A GO!"

Can't you just 'hear' Him up there saying something like this!?!?!?

I hope this all works out and that you are prepared either way. That 'either way' thing is something I have prayed about before.....

"Lord, let this happen.....but if it isn't .......help my heart to be prepared either way."

Please keep us all updated!

Romans 8:28

Just remember:

"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." Rom. 8:28

God has everything under control. It can be scary sometimes because YOU aren't in control. However, God is good, and He has the BEST plan in mind for you. If everything falls into place, you will know that this situation is meant to be. If it falls through, trust that God has an even better plan for you.

My 4-1/2 years of waiting . . . waiting . . . waiting were so hard. But now, when I look into the eyes of my beautiful little boy, I KNOW that every single step led me to this place. He is the PERFECT child for me and my family. This wasn't the path that I would have chosen, but it truly was the BEST path. God knew what He was doing, even when I didn't. I thank God every day for the path He led me through. Every single tear was worth it!!

Good luck, and trust God. He is in control.

- Faith

Thanks - keep praying

Thank you so much for the thoughts and verses. It is nice to hear reminders from others. Even ones I have told my self over and over. Nothing new has really happened as far as us knowing if this is gonna happen. The Mom is suppose to get out of jail on Thurs. and the Aunt is gonna talk to her then. She is going to try to help her see that they need to terminate parental rights before the boys are taken by the state - which no one wants including her. I do have a decision to make before Thurs. I have the opportunity to see them for a short time on Thurs. There are 2 options - 1) I can just see them from a distance 2) I can go up to them and talk to them. The Aunt will be with them and she wants me to see them. I am not sure what to do. I really want to see them, but I don't want to get attached in any way since we don't know what is gonna happen. Thanks for your advice. I am praying about this and the Lord will show me - I know He always does.
