God is so good!!

My agency sent me pictures of Layla. She's gorgeous. In some pictures, she reminds me of my oldest daughter. She was found at the orphanage in Da Nang weighing 5lbs. Layla was born on Jan 21. God answered my prayers and gave me another winter baby. Dec 25, Jan 21, and Feb 26, we're on a roll.

Two girls - - 11 months and 5 days apart, Jory just might be in for it.

And in domestic news, in 8 days I sign adoption placement papers for Rowan. FINALLY!!! I know all in God's perfect time, but sometimes I was a bit impatient. Thank goodness, He loves me faults and all.

Thank you. Part of me is excited and part of me feels like this is still so surreal. I think my 4 years dealing with foster care has made me more cautious and reserved. I think it'll seem real when I'm holding her for the first time. And I'll breathe easier when our plane lands at LAX and we're through customs.

I'm praying I travel in time to have home for Christmas or at the very latest her birthday.
