God blessed us today!
As I mentioned in a previous post, I've been on a different path the last few months.
I started going to a new Church in November. I've been reading the Gospels regularly. But, I've been the seed sown among the thorns. I hear the word, I beleive the word, but worry was been crowding my brain. Seeing myself in that way, is a step in the right direction. I've been reading, praying. The trials and tribulations have been difficult lately. My son was sick on Sunday, but really wanted to go to Sunday school. He was vomiting most of the morning, and had a 101 fever. I took him, he lasted about 5 minutes, came down to the big Church with me. So, today, he still had a fever. So he stayed home. The weather has been nice, so we have flies. I took him to the Dollar Store for some fly paper. I showed a small kindness to a younger name, who seemed to be on his lunch break, I let him got ahead of us in line. I paid no attention to him as he was checking out. I was loading our stuff onto the belt and chattering with my son. The cashier said to me "here, the man who just left said to give this to you". I said "What?" She told that he just said that it was for you as she handed me a $10 bill. He was already gone before I could even thank him. Our bill was $9.73. Money has been a huge issue for me of late. Pastor had mentioned tithes and offerings at service a few weeks ago. On Sunday morning, whatever money I have in my pocket, I give 1/2 to the collection plate. It's usually only a dollar or two. I put in $1 yesterday. It came back tenfold today. My son and I prayed a prayer of thanks in the car after leaving the store. As the song says - What if God was one of Us? |

What an uplifting story, thanks for sharing! I am such a worry wart and even though I know God will provide, he has so many times before, I have trouble keeping my faith. Lucky for me my dh is so laid back and NEVER worries about anything, "it'll turn out like it turns out weather you worry or not" is what he tells me and it always proves true but I worry anyways!
