I'm sorry guys. I'm trying to quiet my brain and come up with a good thought for today. instead, it keeps screaming, MIL is on her way!! MIL doesn't mind stepping in and overtaking right smack in the middle of disciplining our children. I'm telling you if, she does it this time dh needs to talk to her because if he won't, I will, and that won't be a good thing. She and I get a long from a far, and we really got along well in my pre-kid days.
OK, so those are my thoughts today. They're jumbled, they're fearful, they're mixed up. I need to be still, and know that He is Lord. |

TGIF Ani,
Friday start "pray your ABC's." Starting with the letter "A," pray for one person you know whose name begins with that letter. Pray for her today, and watch God move... ![]() "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).

Ahhh, that's a good one bajj. I have been reading the 60-70th chapters of Psalms lately and have found some very uplifting verses/chapters there.

I sooo love this thread! Lately I have been mad about how long this process is taking. I am on the verge of giving up. In a little over a week it will be a year since we started this journey, and I feel like calling it quits.
Part of me feels silly for hanging on this long. But there is this quiet voice inside me that just won't let me give up. So I am going to go read Psalms and get motivated again. Thank you!!!!!

I'm glad this thread is helping you, rs.
Todays verses: Matthew 5:44-45 "But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on {the} evil and {the} good, and sends rain on {the} righteous and {the} unrighteous. |

Another song comes to mind for todays' thought of the day. I don't recall the title of the song, but here are some of the words:
Be kind and courageous and do not be afraid. Don't be afraid! |

Eph 4:1-3 Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Personally, I'm working on the patience thing these days. ![]() |

I needed this last night before our meeting but just got it, we had about 30 blended teens of all races, city and cty schools (wow a hyper group) we could've all used this one, plus I needed it majorly! We tried using our R&R speech, reverence and respect for the word that is being spoken. It was a quiet minute or two...
Glad to be reminded of what I need for today though, all humility and gentleness.. Thx ![]()

Put one foot in front of the other. That's my thought today!
Also, remember Phillipians 4:13. |

I was asked to revive this old thread. I can't keep it going as I have very limited time to get on here and do this right now. It took me so long to find this thread that I can't remember my thought!
So, I'll go with: be happy, live well, laugh often, hug your babies. |
