Today's verse is taken from NASB. It is Psalm 63:8.
(NASB)Psalm 63:8 My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me. Isn't this a comforting thought? I think so. |

This one is truly what I need to hear today, as I have a lot to get done today!
Proverbs 6:6, "Go to the ant, O sluggard, observe her ways and be wise." I need to NOT be a sluggard today and get my work done! |

Thought for Monday...
Verse for the day is great: Jeremiah 32:17
Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arms. Nothing is too hard for you. Thought: When we are weary and tired, and the nights are long and the sun rises earlier than we would like, Gods love never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Just wake refreshed knowing His love is what gets us through it all... ![]() Last edited by mama_again : 06-18-2007 at 06:36 AM. |

Tuesday Morning God thoughts...
Listen to these wise words from Psalm 92:1 & 2...
"It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name O Most High, to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night." Thought for the day: Imagine the impact on your daily outlook if you took a few minutes every morning to declare out loud how much the Lord loves you. To look in the mirror as you prepare for your day and thank the Lord for His loving care as you prepare to head into your activities. Ask Him to remind you throughout the day of His love. :-) |

Wed. Hump Day Words
Great verse for today:
Psalm 34:11 - Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Thought: Raising our children takes time, and raising them well takes a lot of prayer, but those teachable moments are just for a season. For us as parents embrace the season of sacrifice as we honor God with being good stewards over our little ones that He has entrusted to our care. ![]() |

Thanks mama, for taking over for me while I'm not available! Anyone is welcome to post their thought for the day, as well.
Seeing my boys feed dolphins, watching them have fun riding on a boat down riverwalk, seeing them bond, pick on each other, stand up for each other. Oh, we are having a great, tiring, but great time! |

Glad to hear you are enjoying..
So glad Ani is counting her blessings one by one...
I wanted to share a thought on baby duty. We have our little blessing that God so entrusted us with and I say the mornings are so much more fun, we count our blessings and name them one by one! Great verse: A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit. (Prov. 15:13) ![]() |

Start today and celebrate you.
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully make; Your works are wonderful..." (Psalm 139:13, 14).
Today think of all the "Have to" things on your list that need to get done. Now add one "Get to" thing... just for you. Something that will celebrate the unique creation you are in God's sight. God created YOU unique, special. When you were conceived, no matter the circumstances, His knitting needles began to knit you into just the person you are. Oh yes, you have been shaped by circumstances and people and life... yet deep inside is the treasure of YOU. Last edited by mama_again : 06-22-2007 at 07:14 AM. |

Bundles that have favor as a shield!
Thought: when the morning starts with bottles, bundles and snuggles I am reminded of the loving arms of the Master, and how He longs to embrace us with His love and presence daily. May you be bundled in His love as you bundle your little ones today and know they are shielded with God's favor as you pray and believe for them. Trust Him!
Psalm 5:12 For surely, Oh Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with favor as a shield. (I wanted to share this life verse, as we are new parents again to a precious newborn, and have a grown youngin serving in the military and know that the Lord has brought this verse to mind almost daily.) ![]() |

Gen 3:13 (from my memory, so not the exact verse), "And God said to the woman, "What is it you have done?" And the woman said, "The serpent decieved me and I ate."
OK, I don't have my Bible right in front of me so this isn't an exact quote, but it should be close. I find that I frequently want to do just like Eve and blame someone else for my mistakes. How easy it is for me to try and cast blame on someone else. I want my children to learn to take responsibility for themselves, therefore, I need to do the same! BTW, this isn't geared toward anyone. This was today's VBS verse for the day and we discussed Adam and Eve and the serpent...so it is on my mind! |

1 Cor 13:12 (NAS)
But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love. |

Doesn't it though? I couldn't even think of anything to write with it because I just felt that verse just speaks for itself.
