Please pray for a young girl (18) that has recently found out she is pg.

Her sister's friend recently went through an open adoption and we are praying she chooses the same option for her baby and not abortion.

I will pray. Has she been to a Crisis Pregnancy Center? They are excellent at helping young ladies to sort out their feelings and decide the best option for their lives. She will get the facts and truth about abortion, fetal development, etc., as well as supportive help from the staff for her physical, emotional and Spiritual needs. I hope she gives birth to the child and either parent or give the baby up for adoption. I hope she decides to get counseling.

Giving birth is the alternative to abortion. Adoption is the alternative to parenting. I will pray that this woman chooses to give birth to AND then parent this child. She is the child's mother, and she should receive support and guidance to parent this child. I believe that adoption should only be considered - and prayed for - when no viable avenues are available for parenting. She and this child are a family. I will pray that her family remains intact and that her church family supports her parenting her child.
