My parents are in the foster-to-adopt program with the county of San Diego. They have had two children for about 1 year and 3 mos. The children are 4.5 & 2.5 now and continue to be very defiant, physically abusive to my parents and themselves, angry, and continually out of control at all levels.

My mom is extremely tired and at a very hopeless state along with my dad. They have been seeing a "county" prescribed therapist, take the kids to church activities, and spend countless hours with the kids. My mom is exhausted and completely distraught and wants to end the entire process.

They have continued to seek support through the county but have not received anything more than an occasional visit or phone call.

My parents do not want to abandon the kids, but at the same time are emotionally, spiritually and physically spent.

Is there a support group that meets in San Diego, or some type of assistance anyone can offer?
