Christian adoptive parent adoption books???

Can anyone reccomend a/some good book(s) for my adoptive mother and father to read. I am ISO my birth mother and though my parents are supporting me 100% I think they are having a hard time and don't want to talk to me about it. Thank you

I don't know any books to recommend, but I bet your parents would cherish a letter from you if talking is too difficult. Along with good books, it might help them open up. God bless.

The Whole Life Adoption Book by Jayne E. Schooler was wonderful, and has a specific section that may help, "How to respond when child wants to search for his or her birth parents".

Twenty Things Adopted Kids Wish Their Adoptive Parents Knew by Sherrie Eldridge may be helpful, too. I have finished this one yet, and it is secular, so I can't speak to it 100%.

I got my copies of both books through Focus on the Family Canada.

Oh thank you,

I know my mother loves Focus on the Family. I have read 20 things adopted kids wish thier adopted parents knew. It might be a little "out there" for them, but I thought it was a very good book. I will look at the other book you mentioned also.
Thank you for your help, I appreciate it.
Take care
