Exclamation Would love all of your prayers today!

After going through five failed adoptions, we were notified again of a possible match on Friday (Sept. 26). The birth mother saw our profile yesterday and loved it. She will be making her decision today since she saw her doctor yesterday, and she is already 3 cm dilated. The doc said she may have the baby as soon as this weekend. We would love nothing more than to be able to bring this baby home. We would appreciate anyone's prayers for this situation.

Thanks so much!

Emily

Emily,
I'm so sorry that you have gone through so much heart ache! I will definitely will pray for you!

Father of all hope I lift Emily, this birthmother, and child to you. Lord I ask that you would have mercy with all of the pain that has already been suffered by Emily and her family. I ask Father that you would bring joy into their hearts and lives by blessing them with the desire of their hearts-a child to love and care for, for your kingdom and Glory!

I pray Father that you would give the birthmother peace in her decision. I pray that she will also have peace that Emily and her family are the best choice for her child if it is your will.

In Jesus' name, AMEN!!

Just to keep you posted...

Thank you all for your prayers -- I wanted to let you know that we still don't have an answer yet. The birthmom wanted more info on another family before she mader her final decision. The wait gets harder with each day, and after going through five failed adoptions, it is hard to stay optimistic. I look to God every day for strength and grace -- I have given the adoption entirely over to Him. I still hope and pray that it is in His plan that we adopt a baby -- I shed tears every day thinking that it may not be His will for us. We really do thank you all for your prayers and will keep you posted on what happens.

In Christ,

Emily

Read this and I pray it helps.
Phil:4, 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Pat

Unhappy I'm very sad today

I just wanted to thank all of you for your prayers. I guess it wasn't in God's plan for this little one to be a part of our family. The adoption fell through. I am very sad today.

I want to thank Pat for reminding of the wonderful promise of God's peace found in Phil 4:6.

Emily

Emily, I am so sorry to hear that...I pray you will find the RIGHT match soon...

Another Philippians verse for you (from Ch 1) - "He who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it!"

Blessings to you in this hard time.

Emily...I am so sorry to hear that this wasn't the match you've been waiting for. My prayer is that the scriptures that have been shared here will continue to give you peace--and here's another: Jeremiah 29:11.

It sounds as though you have this whole thing in context, and I'm glad that God is blessing you with an understanding of His ways. I pray your wait ends soon. Keep the faith, sister.
