Emily, I just read that things fell thru for you. I'm very sorry and I know you must be very disappointed. Remember God has the Perfect child for your family and when he comes along then "ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM". Our Hayden fell into our laps when we least expected it. i'll pray for that to happen for you. Keep your chin up. God is saving you for someone special.

Emily,
May God wrap you in his arms and comfort you! I'm so sad that this wasn't the one and I pray that God will bless you soon with the desire of your heart! Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning! ![]() Be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord. Psalm 31:24 Love in Christ, Judy |

Emily,
My heart cries for you and the heartache that you have been through. I feel as though any words of comfort I could offer would be insignificant compared to the pain in your hearts. Please know that you and your family are being covered in prayer at this moment. May your hearts find peace and comfort in the Lord and may your little one soon be placed in your arms. With love, Jenn |

Thank-you everyone for your prayers and words of comfort and encouragement. It is such a blessing to know that other brothers and sisters in Christ are praying for us.

Hi Emily!
I'm coming to this thread a little late, but not too late to offer my support on your adoption journey! For our second adoption, we spent a grueling year and a half grieving over 6 failed adoptions. At the end of the year and a half, we received the call that our son was born that morning, and we could meet him the next day at the agency. When I held my son for the first time, the Lord spoke to me... "THIS is the reason why none of the other adoptions worked out... THIS child is the one I have chosen for you... HE is your son!" All those months of waiting, and the intense grief of one failed adoption after another disappeared when I held my son for the first time. I knew then why I had suffered... for THIS joy, for this little boy that was chosen to bless my life!! The Lord truly rewarded us for our perseverance! We learned so much during our waiting period... patience, trust in the Lord, God's abundant love and grace, and HIS timing not ours! So, in your disappointment and grief, always remember that our Lord and Savior is refining your Christian character and preparing you for the day your child is placed in your arms!! I am praying that day is soon for you Emily! I feel your deep heartache, and trust the Lord will take care of you and your family during your wait! Prayerfully yours!
