God did answer our prayers -- not according to MY will, but according to His. The baby is no longer available; the birth mom decided to place him with an Aunt. Now we just pray that we will be able to save enough before the next child becomes available. Thanks for the prayer.

It's in times like these that we are able to truly express the depth of our christianity in it's entirety.....for only when we're pressed, does our real christian perspective shine....and you have truly demonstrated a loving, submissive spirit during this much difficult time....

For when things are good, it's easy to praise GOD and be happy and thankful....but when turmoil and confusion and heartache come, it's so easy to let fear and anger control us....

God, I'm sure, is very pleased with the way you have interpreted this situation that occured with this recent baby....believing that His will WAS done and you are ACCEPTING that as such....

What a beautiful and strong testament to your faith and my husband and I will keep you in our prayers....

God does have the PERFECT child for you...in HIS perfect time...

Thanks for your words of encouragement and your prayers. IT is hard in the midst of all this to see why things happen the way they do, but I know God sends trials our way so that we have a chance to grow and know HIm more. We continue to pray for His hand in all of this. We know He has already chosen the perfect child for us -- we just need to wait and trust in Him.
