My son is 7. He had dance class tonight. While he was in class, I waited in the car. I has Christian channel on the radio, the program happened to be a preacher. I actually listen for the music. Anyway, I went in to get him from class and on the way home, I changed he channel. The message is difficult to follow sometimes over the radio.

My baby, said "mom, put that back, I want to hear about Jesus."

I'm so proud of him. He chose to listen about Jesus instead of listening to music.

That is so wonderful...

My kids like to listen to 'Church' music in the car...but contemporary Christian music...very upbeat and what they play/we sing at our sevices.

He amazes me more and more each day.

A little background, he's been with me almost 5 years. He's ADHD among other things. I was raised Catholic and stopped going to Church shortly after adopting. I spent most of service trying to keep him quiet, entertained, etc.

In December we started attending a Baptist Church reguarly and love it. He started attending Jr. Church and Sunday school around late January/February.

His understanding of Christ, worship, prayer is amazing. He told me this morning that he didn't like Gregory because Gregory doesn't believe in God or Jesus. I told him that we should pray for Gregory. He asked me why. I told him "because how do you get to heaven?"

He thought for a split second and said "no one comes to the Father but through me. Mom he needs to beleive in Jesus or he won't go to heaven." I was floored. But he didn't know what/how to pray. I told him that he should pray for God to open Gregory's heart.

He's 7!
