Hi Everyone,

I usually frequent (multiple times daily) the Guatemala adoption forum, but tonight, I am needing prayers desperately. We are currently adopting a baby girl from Guatemala and for several days I have felt myself falling into an obsessive mind-set because we haven't gotten medical updates on her in over a month. She was tiny at birth and is on a special formula to help her gain weight faster, and not hearing news is having a devastating effect on me. I know in my heart this child is meant to be part of our family and God will bring her home in His perfect time, but I need Him to give me peace and help me to find comfort in the situation and trust Him to take care of her for us. I have a usually strong faith, but for some reason this has really weighed on my mind all day, so I decided to come over and ask you all to pray for our little girl and our family.
