Sorry guys, but I have to go with........Annoying!!!!
 That is just my personal preference though - I chose not to have speakers on my desktop and only turn on my speaker on my laptop when I am viewing an e-card or something! IMHO

It annoys me because if I want to listen to music, I will. I don't mind if they have a section there where you can click play if you want to hear it.

I HATE it!!! Just like I think it is rude to have music blasting on your answering machine or cell phone. I have to make calls for work. My ears are killing me before the night is even half over.

For the most part it doesn't bother me, but it can really say alot about the personality of the person hosting the site. For example, we were looking at different RV parks to stay at because we recently bought a travel trailer. We clicked on one that looked real nice and this BLAIRING - HILLBILLY - DELIVERANCE type music came screaming at me. Truth be told, I was almost scared at the thought of having my children at such a place!
