I was jealous when I read how beautiful your day started! It's gloomy and rainy here. It was sleeting when we got up, but thank goodness it warmed up enough by the time we went to church that it was wet, not icy. But it's still raining and very gray.

My grandsons are going home tonight. Randy is on his way to get them. That's not good that they're going home, but it is good that I get to see Randy. He'll be here in about an hour and he'll stay for dinner and part of the evening. Even after 3 1/2 yrs. and the fact that I see him quite often, I still get excited to see him. When they're ready to go, I'll get the boys in the jammies so that when they arrive at home sleeping, he'll just have to carry them to bed. Well, I'd better start getting them packed - they come with enough stuff it looks like they moved in for a month, lol.

Talk to you later after things settle down around here.

Hello everyone,

It's so gorgeous out here today. It's around 70 and the sun is out. Just waiting for Sean to get up from his nap and we are taking the kids to the park. Hope everyone is having a great day. I will check back later tonight...

Cathy

You got snow... Yuck... It was gorgeous out here today. Took the kids to the park, McDonald's and then went to my SIL's house. The kiddos are in bed and now I am here....

Night Kat...

Hi Cathy, Kat, Mil, L.L., Sal, Skinny and Everybody!

We had a chilly day here. I took the kiddos to see Winn Dixie, then to Chili's for dinner. It was fun, I think the boys were a little bored with the movie, buy hey, they can't all be about super heroes, aliens and whatnot!! We had fun, Eric and Kristen did not want Jim to go home. They were clinging to him, trying to make him stay. Eric kept telling him to call in sick tomorrow, bad influence!!

I hope everyone is doing okay. I'm hoping to hit the sack early, (famous last words), and finish my book!

Mil, I hope your visit with Randy was fun!

Cathy, is your husband better?

Kat, we are getting snow tomorrow I think. Ken is glad to have the day off!

L.L., guys like routine, I think!

Proxy...Sounds like you enjoyed the movie but not the kids... Chili's for Dinner!!! Yum!!! What did you have?
It was in the 70's here. I can't stand snow. We used to get snow here all the time but now in the last few years we get just a few inches and that is it. My hub is doing so much better. Thank you for asking. Nick and I woke up with sore throats but still was able to make it to Church. Lexi was begging to go. Such a good little girl. The kids had such a good day today. We kept them busy and they love that when we go places... My hub let the office off tomorrow, so he will be home with us...

We have the Critter Control coming tomorow because we have squirrels in our Attic... Hopefully they will be able to get rid of those rodents... They will set traps outside and then relocate them.. Can't wait until they are gone... And we don't even live in the country.

I will try and be back later. Nick is watching a movie and then in about 30 minutes we will be watching Arrested Development. I never could keep up with the show because of the kids, so now we have the first season on DVD... I am so hooked on that show...

Cathy

Cool

Hi, Guys!
How goes the battle this morning, my friends??
I was gearing up to teach this evening, but I got a couple of calls from families who sort of sounded like they wanted me to cancel class since school is out today -- so I did. It might come back to bite me in the butt later, because we missed two weeks when Mom died -- but I didn't really feel like going, anyway....
Skinny -- no one would ever know my husband, either!! He never goes to any of the things I do, and we don't share the same friends! I bet half the people in my church don't think I am even married!! LMAO

MIL -- Glad you had a good time with your "babies" and that you got to spend time with Randy!!

Proxy -- I haven't seen Winn Dixie yet, but I think that dog has the most precious face I have ever seen!!! I am planning to take Shaela when she gets back from Florida.

Cathy -- I am SO sorry you are feeling bad!! Whatever this thing is that is going around, it doesn't want to take leave -- that's for sure. I still don't feel "right" and it's been a week! Most colds I get go away in a day or two....this one keeps hanging on!! The cough is horrible.....I feel like a kid with whooping cough or something!

Well, I should head out and do something constructive! My dh called and wanted me to go run some errands for him, and I said I had too much to do -- so I had darn well better make it apparent that I DID something, or there will be heck to pay!

Later, Gators!
Sal

Hi Ladies! I can't believe it's been over a week since I posted...it was an "unusual" week to say the least, and I didn't get to come right out and Q - U - I - T like I wanted to (chicken and boss has a way with words) but we left it open-ended....i.e. 'if stuff doesn't change for the better I am OUT'.

Sally - enjoy your night off! The kids are resilient - they'll catch up! When's the performance? I want PICTURES when it happens!

Cathy - we need Pics! Come on! I need to see a palm tree right about now (that we got dumped on by wet snow last night!) Hope you feel better soon....take some nyquil and SLEEP tonite instead of staying up late! I love Arrested Development, too...my other hooked show is Six Feet Under but I don't get HBO so am waiting for season #3 to come out on video.

LeeAnn - did you get whalloped with snow today? We got it over night...just when it was looking like spring. At least it's pretty. I like snow, but I'm getting spring fever right about now as March approaches. I want to see Winn-Dixie too!

Skinny - how's that dulcimer?

Paige - man what I wouldn't GIVE for a huge bathtub! I love my house but our bathrooms are ridiculously small. LOVED the Victoria's Secret comment. har har. ROFL about denting hubbys truck! Men and their cars...why do they care?! Hope he forgave you...

Mil - hope you had a great night with Randy... nice that you had some time with the grandkids..they must have such fun with you!

Hey Kat - how ya doin? How's the smoking thing coming?

OK, I may have missed some up there, but I'll try to get more in later...hello to all...hope everyone is enjoying the day today!

"It's so gorgeous out here today. It's around 70 and the sun is out."

Cathy, I'm SOOO JeaLouS! It was above freezing for 2 days here last week...

Paige, I hope your hubby forgives you quickly. Sounds like a pretty awesome guy though, Breakfast in the tub! Once again I'm JeaLouS!!!

Cathy, I hope you feel better soon, too.

Crissy, sorry you're not getting along with your job. I think jobs can be worse than a relationship with a jerk! When you're jobs the jerk, it's harder to up and leave. I wont even start about mine, I'd have a few pages of text for ya'll to sort through! I wanted to say the same to my boss many times... I'm sooo chicken, too.

"I had darn well better make it apparent that I DID something, or there will be heck to pay!"
Sal- Forums ARE doing something! To bad guys dont feel the same way about that . My honey asks when I'm going to have the laundry folded, then he Grrrr's at me while he folds it so I can come here on my non homework moments.
