Well, I lost about two ounces on Friday! My surgery went well...I am moving around already. Not exactly exercise, but out of bed for a few minutes at a time. I'll be back at my powerful workouts any day now...Yeah right.

Free- you are "excused" from any exercise right now. Just take care of YOU !

Now NEXT week will be a different story, so enjoy the "break" while you can. Cuz we will be on your case to move that butt !!!

Seriously...take care. Let someone else pamper you for awhile. Maybe even let yourself have a small treat...after all, you need to keep up your strength

Free, glad you are doing well. Will send you some healing energy anyway and some for the swift return of your beloved doggie.
The weather here in Vt has quickly turned from
nasty winter storms to 70 & 80 degrees. Love it.
Have been out puttering in the garden and can't wait the extra activity to shed a few pounds of winter weight.
get well and keep us posted.

Hey Free, How are you feeling. I bet alot "lighter" since you ahd those 2 ounces removed. Hope you're on the mend, girlfriend.
I am NOT doing very well with the weight loss thing and if I don't watch out the 37-40 lbs are going to creep back on. Already 5 have "snuck" under my belt. Maybe now that the weather has changed a wee bit, I might be able to get out and walk around, providing I get some ENERGY to go along with it, I have been fight with a nasty cold / allergies for weeks now and can;t seem to shake it. It and the "pressures" in my life are draining me.
Come on sunshine, bring some positive rays!!!!!

Well, Janie-If it's a slow and short walk, I would love to go with you.

Thanks everyone, for your good thoughts. I am up and moving again, but I get tired pretty easily. I take lots of naps. I am going to be back at work on Monday...we will see if I can do a full day!

Jen-My surgery was a laproscopic ovarian cystectomy. Basically there was a cyst on one of my ovaries that my doc decided shouldn't be there. Now it isn't. Yippee!

So, I have been eating lots-Turkey dinner, lasagna, chips and dip, ice cream...Tonight I am making fettucine alfredo... I am up a couple pounds, but not too bad. I have started moving around a little bit. Yesterday I walked a mile through the woods...just a casual stroll, no power walking just yet. Soon, though...

I am jealous of you people with temps in the 70s...I've been happy to have 50s!

Oh no! It is an emergency! I am up to 234.5! That is way above the 230# I was holding steady at. I don't understand. I did such a good job eating yesterday and I worked my little patootie off! I spent hours in the woods walking and chainsawing and am very very sore today. I EARNED a weight LOSS! I'm crabby now...

(Oh, I also haven't made the alfredo yet, so that is not to blame...)

Free- OH NO !!!!!!!! You had "permission" for just a few bites of comfort food....what happened ?
Well....I guess WE will have to walk more. I promise we will go slow, until you are back to 100 percent.

And NO goodies for awhile....strictly fruit, veggies, salads ( dressing ON THE SIDE). Chicken, fish, all baked....

Come on Free....you can do it.

If it makes you feel any better ( which I know it won't)...I cannot fit into ANY of my summer clothes from last summer.
I have NO excuses other than I have been pigging out on candy, chips, etc.

Come on gals...we need to try harder.

Janie-I am ready to walk...full speed, full distance. I have declared myself fully healed. Let's go!

Today I stepped on the scale and was down one pound from yesterday so I am at 233.5. Still not great, but better.

I had a smoothie for breakfast...will probably have a subway sandwich for lunch. No bacon, no extra cheese, no fun. Still good, though. Quick, convenient and cheap.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Well, I have not been very consistant about stepping on the scale. I have also not been nearly as diligent about eating sensibly. I have, on the other hand, become much more active. I have been going to my property and chainsawing and moving logs and walking around each weekend. Also, I just got two puppies, so they have been keeping me pretty active. It has been an adventure.

How is everyone else doing?

Yeah, pretty much, I think I am crazy. I miss my old dog, but have accepted that I won't get him back and decided I need to have a dog. Then, I got this great idea that having two dogs will prevent them from being lonely...

I just tried to attach pictures of the pups, but failed. I don't know how to do it, really, but I will try to try again later.
