I'm still around too....just not doing anything worthy of bragging about.
I did take a walk yesterday...but not very long. I just cannot seem to get motivated at all lately !! ![]() |

Yeah, so what's going on with us? Where is our motivation? What can kick start us? All summer we whined about it being too hot, now winter is coming and we will start whining about it being too cold...
I'm at 235. That should be motivation enough. |

Good for you Katnap,
you have been a real warrior woman. Initially I found it hard to love myself enough not to feed myself poorly. I found if I eat what I need first, the cravings for what I want dininish. don't get me wrong I still binge here and there but I have not gained back any of the weight. These days I find half a sandwich will often do the trick and snacking on fruit mid afternoon. I treat myself with no more than 2 of those little fun size chocolate bars which I think are only about 60 or 70 calories apiece. I have had to stay away from ice cream as it really does go straight to my hips. I can put on 5 pounds in week with ice cream and I think it give me sinus problems. I guess everyone's metabolism is different. I can eat popcorn without a problem too. rally on everyone, Cat

Well ladies,
Be proud of me! I just spent Tuesday through Friday at a conference for work. I worked out for 30 minutes on Tuesday. 1 hour on Wednesday and 1 hour on Thursday. I am very proud of me...Hopefully I will keep it up... How are you all doing? |

Despite the exercise, I am at 235.5. Grrr. I was so close to being in the 220s such a short time ago... I am going to keep up the exercise, though and work better on the eating.

I am still lingering around the -37 lbs mark
and can't seem to drop any more.. ..granted, my activity level has decreased the past few weeks.Have you increased your water intake? Gee...my friend, I don't know what to suggest other than 'BE PATIENT" and keep doing what you're doing! HUGS! "K"

I said that I was PROUD PROUD PROUD of you for the exercise thing. I am STUCK !!!!! Good intentions, but they just don't seem to happen. I have GOT to get it going again....my winter clothes from last year ( remember...all the NEW ones I got ) don't fit now !!!!!! Okay, stepped on the scale this morning...down to 235. That is better than last time. I chainsawed and split and stacked wood for 3 or 4 or 5 hours yesterday. I am pooped today.
I do need to work on drinking more water (and less caloried drinks!) Thanks Janie for being proud...I am too. I am thinking pretty seriously about joining a gym...Tuesday...we'll see. |

Okay, so my digital scale was flickering between 234.5 and 235 today before settling on 235. That is good. I inadvertantly got a 3/4 mile walk in today...my car got a flat tire and I decided it would be fastest to just walk back home. Grrr. Today is my crazy busy day, too so that sure didn't help. Oh well...My guy is getting the tire fixed and will pick me up from work this afternoon. That is good.
I ate a small breakfast and have some healthy soup for lunch. Going to try for a reasonable spaghetti dinner tonight with not too many snacks afterwards. Something small. I don't know what. Hope you are all doing well. |

I went to the gym that day...have really been watching my eating...scale was at 233.5 this morning. Very nice to see. How is everyone else? Am I just talking to myself?

WOOHOO GIRL!!!! I knew you could do it...... and I know where your lost weight went. Found it's way to my scale. I've watched it giggle it's way up an ounce or two every morning this week. By golly, I am hoping it is just "water" or I'll be peeved at myself!
