Hello! It's been a while since I posted but I saw something that I thought that I would share. I was at a dept store the other day and DD and I were visiting the toy dept. We always visit with the "friends" and say goodbye when we leave so that they don't miss their mommies. So far it's working. I'm dreading the day when it doesn't! Anyway, we were walking by the dolls and she said "Hey that doll looks like me!". When I looked at what she was talking about it was a doll from a "famous doll company" (pm me if you want the name) that I had never seen before. I think it's supposed to be like another very "famous, expensive doll" that looks like your DD. We spent a little time looking at her b/c she really had Asian features to me. I don't know if she's supposed to be Asian but she sure was pretty! We said goodbye to the doll and we left. DD kept talking about the doll so I thought I'd get it for Christmas because she only is interested in one doll that she has. After I bought it I took it out of the box to look at it and it seemed very similar to the other "famous, expensive" doll. DD received one of the expensive dolls for a gift but I will not give it to her yet b/c she's only 3 1/2. She received some of the clothes as a gift, too, and just out of curiosity I tried the clothes on the "inexpensive" one. They fit perfectly. The only difference I saw between the 2 dolls was the quality of the hair. It won't matter to DD, though!

P.S. - I hope I explained this clearly enough! I know that I can't use names so I tried my best!

I think i know what doll you mean Does she come in a red and white outfit? if so, i am planning on getting that doll for DD for Christmas. She is beautiful, and DD needs more dolls that look like her brother. Glad to hear the other famous doll's clothes fit her.

Yes she does come in a red and white outfit! I was trying to find the doll on the web for someone but couldn't find it anywhere. It may only be sold in the store.
