I just read a post on RQ that Hague cases take 1-2 months longer to get TA’s after LOA …
… is that correct?! My agency didn’t mention that. 2 of our group of 9 are Hague (I’m one of them). So does this mean that the rest of our group will already be back before I even leave?! Please say this isn’t so!

OH Paul! How agonizing!!
If that happens, you can hook up with one of the people that advertises contacts to orphanages for updates. I know that would have to be very difficult after all this time though. Please keep us posted!

I hope you get that happy call soon.
I have heard that it Hague cases can take longer because of the way in which paperwork must be handled. I hope it doesn't work that way for you and your child is in your arms before you know it.

We are a hague case and it took about 2 months to get our TA. We had to submit our I800 paperwork to the USCIS/NBC and then wait for approvals and then they cable it to China. Then your I800 gets united with your child's visa paperwork and you wait for a signature on that, then it is sent to the CCAA for issue of TA!
So sorry you waited so long just to get a delay with the Hague!!! Can't wait to hear your good news-there was a couple of baby announcments on RQ yesterday!!
