is the adoption process in china expedited if one of the parents is chinese?

hello. i'm looking into the adoption process in china and have read that if one or both parents is chinese then the process is expedited for them. i am half chinese. does anyone know if this is true and would it apply for someone who is only half chinese? also, do you know how much sooner you would be united with a child?

I believe both of your parents need to have been born in China. Check with an agency to be sure.

I think referral waits for Chinese expedited is around 24-27 months now.
