Not sure how many people here follow the rumors. But I just read that matching is being done right now for the next batch, March 1-?, 2006, and it's rumored to be a big one.
It might even be a full month. Could you imagine????

Oh I really pray it is. What a great way to start off the year!! I swear China had it planned this way all along. They "told" how much they would get done in 2008 and then I heard a rumor that they said things would speed up in 2009. I seriously think there is a plan they are following and that we are just not allowed to know the reasons behind the plan.

I guess Mar. 09 is a big month!? So I guess we will just have to wait and see. I personally would love to hear a new shared list was in the works too :-)

I think there is reason to get excited about these rumors. I have two friends with 3/15/2006 LIDs. We all used/are using a very conservative, large China only agency. Our agency told them there was a possibility they'd be in the Jan batch. They also think they could be in the Feb batch. Then they sent them the form that basically lists your schedule and how to get ahold of you when your referral comes in. Again, this is an extremely conservative agency and their information is always correct.

Do the referrals come out the first of each month? How long does it usually take to hear the time frames?
I have a 10/06 lid. I have been predicting all along a 12/09 referral, but at this rate, might be a 12/10 referral.
I loved it when you could watch the official website with the referral time frames, but now we just have to wait & hear the news, is that correct?

I do hope it is true, but I have heard the contrary. It might be a small referal for this month. I do hope it get to us. (sorry for being selfish) We have a 3-7 LID. Just pray that all referals our fast and we get our children home soon!

Wanting to love another child is definitely not selfish.
Referrals are usually around the first of the month, but traditionally, the referrals have been sooner for February (typically around the end of January, because of the Chinese New Year being in February.
We received our referral for our first daughter on January 29th, 2006. The referrals were sent out from China a few days earlier. Oh what an exciting time that was!!!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will hear something next week. One way or another we are either next or NEXT next. Either way it is a cause for celebration! My agency also requested updated information and informed that there was a possibility we would be matched but was leaning toward late February. Its just exciting to know that our LID is even close to being matched.

I think that most people believe that referrals will be mailed from China Friday 1/23. Chinese New Year begins that next week and they will be closed. In the past years they were pretty good about getting a batch of referrals out before CNY. I would also say that people shouldn't get their hopes up too high for this batch. Remember that 3/6 and 3/7 are absolutely huge days. March 06 was basically as big as two previous months. We really can't expect them to do the whole thing in one month. It would actually be a really good batch if they get to 3/6 and if they could possibly do 3/7 then it would be absolutely fantastic. It would really speak to things going much more quickly once they finish March. If they get to a date past 3/7 then I would absolutely fall out of my chair, but I would be more than happy to do so!! Here's hoping!!

Yes, it is!! I remember the feeling of being next after next, or next - and I was on cloud 9! I am so excited for you and others who will be seeing yoru sweet baby's faces for the first time very soon - finally!!
