Frustrated a bit here-going on 9 weeks and still no fingerprinting appt., but we have had a lot going on, so the time is going quickly. I laugh at myself as I am in a hurry to wait! LOL
I just finished summer school and have one month of vacation finally. Sept. will be here soon! I hope everyone else is doing well this summer!

We are doing well. Just waiting to for our TA - and to hear from USCIS about our new I-171H. We still hoping to travel by the end of August.

We're paper-chasing. Actually, I have been done paperchasing for a few weeks now. I'm just waiting on our social worker to finish our home study. We started this process in May and I'm getting a bit impatient.
 I teach and go back for the fall semester August 4. I was hoping to have this done by then.Oh well...

I hope we only have to redo everything once.

Glad to know that you guys are still out there!
 I am doing good too. It's been 6 weeks since we sent off our I-800 A and we are still waiting for a fingerprint appt. I feel you with the hurry up and wait, but with the wait being as long as it is I will gladly hurry up to get my place in line! Other than that I have been chasing the other kids around, trying to stay cool in 100+ heat, and decorating the house. Not too bad for summer time. Speaking of house, I am off to do laundry. Now doesn't that sound like fun?

We are doing well great! Just enjoying every second of our first summer with our sweet girl!
We are going on a week-long vacation with one of the families we traveled with to China in a few weeks! It will be great for Charlotte and Lily to play together again! Those days in the White Swan seem so long ago now.

We are still trying to renew paperwork. What a nightmare! It has now taken longer to renew paperwork than it did to complete the original paperchase and DTC! Other than that, we are doing fine here. Glad to hear everyone else is "plugging along"

Life is good. Our 4 1/2 year old (adopted at 3) has reached yet another level of maturity. And the oldest (10 1/2) is preparing for her first sleep away camp. We too are preparing for vacation (camping for 2 weeks in New York's Adirondack Mountains). The young one had a grat time last year - the two of us went on a 4 hour canoe adventure and had a great time. We are also getting ready to root for USA and China while watching the olympics.

We're doing OK here, too. Our little guy got his obturator removed last Friday and we learned that his repaired palate is intact and healing!!! Yay! It's been a long summer of multiple doctors and surgeries. Hope we're on the downhill side of it now.

We just brought our son home from Taiwan and we are settling into life as a family of four. He's doing well and it's really been a different journey adopting a baby this young. Here's a picture of my 2 sweeties together:
