Happy Father's Day
This day has become my favorite day of the year. Had anyone told me that being a dad (especially late in life) would be so wonderful I would have thought they were crazy. Have a great day guys.

YAY! Happy Father's Day to all the Dads! This Father's Day has been a 5-year-wait for my DH - since we started trying to have a family. It is so wonderful that our sweet girl is finally here!
  Adam and Charlotte and my parents and siblings all made my first Mother's Day soooooo special, and I very much want to make Adam's first Father's Day special, too. I found the perfect gift for him, and I know he will love it. The necklace is "manly" enough for him, and I know he would love to wear it to remind him of Charlotte when he is not with her (you know - like during the workday): http://images.redenvelope.com/is/ima...n/FD08_306388? And it is very similar to the one he got me last year for our anniversary (which was the month we got Charlotte): http://images.redenvelope.com/is/ima...id=250&hei=250 And I found the perfect gifts for him from Charlotte - two kid's books (Daddy and Me by Karen Katz and Daddy Kisses by Ann Guthan) I figure I can justify the cost of his necklace by planning a low-key family day/picnic lunch at a local lake. Or if we have crappy weather (hopefully not!), we can go to an indoor park.

Any updated pictures? DH went to a preschool Father's Day presentation today. It really is amazing isn't it? Life is good.
