Hague accredited/agencies?

Would you apply to an agency that was not Hague accredited or only had temporary status?

We liked a two that have been mentioned a lot on here but they are not Hague accredited. The one said they would be in the next 6 months and the other is temp. accredited until Feb.

It just makes me nervous but I don’t know much about it so I figure I would ask on her.

There are a lot of them out there accredited. We're with a very small agency, and it is. I would not go with one that is not.

Thanks

It is so hard b/c they are the very popular large ones on here and we really liked them as well but no point going that route if there was a problem!

As of yesterday, ours is still not accredited and it is making me nervous. I don't know how this will affect us in the long run. When chosing your agency, select one that is accredited and gives you the most options. Good luck.

If you select one that isn't accredited, you won't be able to get USCIS approval which is a requirement for every international adoption.
