Toys and gadgets

What toys in particular do you think are/will be "must haves" for your child?

What toys can your child really do without, because you know they drive you nuts?

What's the most important piece of equipment, furniture, or learning tool you've purchased for your child?

What gadget did you/do you think you can get the most out of, to make life easier with your child?

What's one gadget you have in your house right now, that you really like?

What one gadget did you purchase in the past that you never EVER used, but thought you would?

Have you ever bought anything from an infomercial? If so, did it work just "as seen on TV"?

What's one gadget (or household item) that you currently wish you actually had?

What toys in particular do you think are/will be "must haves" for your child?
Her bear, her wo wo (blanket) and crayons and paper.

What toys can your child really do without, because you know they drive you nuts?
The dog...just kidding. Uhm...she really doesn't have any annoying toys.

What's the most important piece of equipment, furniture, or learning tool you've purchased for your child?
Books. Lydia was speech delayed, so reading to her has been essential.

What gadget did you/do you think you can get the most out of, to make life easier with your child?
Honestly, my imagination. I know that's a cheat answer...but it's what I use the most. Beyond that I LOVE those colour wonde markers that only mark on colour wonder paper! WOW that stuff is great!!!

What's one gadget you have in your house right now, that you really like?
For me, my Dyson. For Lydia her portable DVD player. She call is "her computer" cause it looks a little like a smaller version of my Laptop.

What one gadget did you purchase in the past that you never EVER used, but thought you would?
I cought Lydia a kitchen tower to stand on while I cook so she can help. She hates it and prefers to sit on a stool.

Have you ever bought anything from an infomercial? If so, did it work just "as seen on TV"?Nope

What's one gadget (or household item) that you currently wish you actually had? A computer for her.

Leap (alphabet singing frog), stacking cups, shape sorter, wooden train set, ladybug that shines the moon and stars on the ceiling at night.

What toys can your child really do without, because you know they drive you nuts?
It's amazing what you can put up with because it makes your child happy. I don't even mind TMX Elmo.

What's the most important piece of equipment, furniture, or learning tool you've purchased for your child?
Fridge Phonics, he is learning to recognize letters and knows what sounds they make. It's majorly cool. Also books. Reading has really helped with language acquisition.

What gadget did you/do you think you can get the most out of, to make life easier with your child?
Snacktraps!!! These things are amazing.

What's one gadget you have in your house right now, that you really like?
My rice cooker. He just loves rice and I love that I can set it and forget it.

What one gadget did you purchase in the past that you never EVER used, but thought you would?
A bed rail. Since we're co-sleeping, so I act as his bed rail.

Have you ever bought anything from an infomercial? If so, did it work just "as seen on TV"?Nope

What's one gadget (or household item) that you currently wish you actually had? Tivo. I never seem to be available to watch what I want when it's on.
