My wife and I were both 39 when we adopted an 8-month old from China in 2002. We were 44 last year when we brought our 2nd daughter home who was 2-1/2. We both just turned 45 and are in the process of adopting a 12-year-old boy from China.

I was 34 & DH was just shy of 28 when we brought our son home from Guatemala.
We *just* started an adoption in China, so I hope we're no older than 42 & 36 when we bring a child home! (I'm 37 now!)
