Leaving on Wednesday for China!!!
I am so excited!!!
 We are leaving on Wednesday to pick up our son!!!! I can't believe my dream to adopt is becoming a reality- I have wanted to adopt since I was a little girl, and when my bro and sis were adopted I knew I would someday. We originally applied over 3 years ago, switched countries once, and then later found our precious son on a WC list. He is 3.5 and waiting in Urumqi, in Xinjiang, the far province to the northwest that borders Kazahkstan, Russia, Kyrgystan, Tibet, etc. We are so excited- this is the journe of a lifetime!!!If you'd like to follow our story I will update our blog daily with pics, provided that the internet works . We're bringing our laptop so hopefully it will be OK.I know how much I used to like following other people's blog while they were traveling, and I can't believe now I'm the one traveling! Crazy! Thank you everyone for your well wishes!!
We meet Tonito in 3 hours. My stomach is doing flip-flops!!! I woke up at 4am China time. OMG, I can't believe this is happening . The breakfast buffet opens in 7 minutes (7am China time) so that will distract me for a bit. I AM SO EXCITED and nervous and anxious!! I know it is going to be so scary for him.. I can't imagine how he will feel! I am expecting a lot of crying... All I will want to do will be to smother him with kisses but I will hold myself back and try not to scare him.
