I found this forum very active and informative, but was wondering if there are any Canadians here. Although, the process of adopting from China is very similar between US and Canada, there are some differences, for example no fingerprinting, different immigration paperwork and flying to Beijing, because this is where Canadian embassy is.
If there are no Canadians this is fine too, because I love being here. I know some families in my town that adopted from China so I am getting “Canadian” information from them.

Thank you for your reply. It is nice to see at least one fellow Canadian here.

I have a couple of questions right now. We are preparing our paperwork and are almost ready to send it to our agency. Do you know what happens next and how long on average it would take before our dossier can be sent to China? When do we start immigration paperwork? Our agency tells us that when our dossier is sent to China. Is this correct?
