Ok, here is a question to throw by you all.

Strictly opinion of course, but what percentage of people who are at the LID stage do you think frequent this site? Or are on our stat list? Just curious because I have absolutely no clue!

There are a lot of names on the stats list that you don't see post often, if ever, but those people could be daily lurkers. Only the moderators and/or admins know, I'm sure.

What I'm curious to see is how many May+ LID's in comparison to these past few months before the May 1 deadline.

I check in just about every day but often just lurk. I found this forum a couple years ago during one of our domestic adoptions. I prefer this forum because it feels more welcoming and cozy than other sites

I think most people frequent and post on the site more when they are paperchasing up through when they get a LID. There is so much time now between LID and referral that most people need to just check out and leave the boards for a while. I think most come back when they are anticipating getting their referral.

I am here every day, but don't post that much...

With a projected referral of 2009, I don't have much to say.

Like Skingspan said, I will probably be more chatty when we get closer to referral and travel...

I used to post here all the time last spring and summer. Many of the names that you don't recognize are from that time. There were some things that happened here so many members have switched to different boards. I frequent those boards more frequently, however, still like to check in here occasionally. I also find that I don't post that often because we are so far away from referral and I just don't have too much to add.

This board introduced me to the world of China adoptions. I started here and made it thru the paperchase stage because of those who were ahead of me in the process. Like stated in one of the prior posts, I have a decent wait ahead of me and in the attempt to stay "SANE" I take INTERNET breaks. I do come back and check but mostly lurk and post only when I have something to offer.
