1. My favorite childhood summer trip was to...
Hawaii...we went every other year as a family and it felt so rich to go across the ocean. I actually thought my parents were wealthy. We had a microwave, cable TV, and we went to Hawaii...all on my dad's truck driver salary! I still don't know how my parents did it.

2. The best summertime treat is... strawberry shortcake with homemade whipped cream. MMMM!

3. This summer, we plan to.... My husband may win a trip to Disney World at work, so we may do that. If not, we'll just spend as much time outside as possible (weather permitting). I'm torn between taking a trip now or saving my vacation time for China.

5. I love summer because... I am a warm weather girl, despite growing up in Seattle. I love nothing more than sitting by a pool or lake with a book, a cool drink, and the smell of a BBQ going!
