A lot of boring stuff...you know, shower etc. But something else I do everyday is tell my daughter how beautiful she is both inside and out. No one can hear that too often.

I have to confess that because I do not have any children yet and I have a great work schedule (I work 2 days then 2 nights and then I have 4 days off) I do have a lot of free time. So when I was writing this I vowed to actually do these things while I have the time!

Tell my husband I love him...We're not a super kissy couple (the dog gets more kisses) and if our hands touched in public, we would probably react as though we'd been shocked, but I never want him to forget how I feel.

2. Name two things you wish you could learn:
a. To Knit- I know it sounds granny, but I really wanted to knit my son a blanket...or a woobie...or whatever... to send ahead to China. However, I have the early stages of arthritis (yes at 33) in 3 fingers and I had to give up after about 10 rows.
b. How to have the patience for a medical degree. I dropped out to get a full time job in my first year of pre-med; I badly wanted to be a forensic pathologist...and before CSI was the in thing. I was a Quincy fanatic at a young age.

3. Name three things that remind you of your childhood:
a. Macaroni and cheese from a box...and not Kraft. I'm talking the generic bright orange 5/$1 kind. It warms my heart with floresent cheesy memories.
b. Big Band music. My grandma used to put on big band music and we would dance in her living room and she would tell stories of when she was a girl. I'm tearing up just thinking about it now. She passed away 12 years ago and was my bestest friend.
c. Wood Paneled station wagons. Yes, we had a Vista Cruiser with no seatbelts. Going 60 down the freeway (or 90 as my dad drove regularly...usually while drinking a beer), I could jump on the back seat as high as I could and would never hit my head on the roof. We used to make tents in the cargo area and lay out sleeping bags on road trips. Ah, those where the days. They're becoming extinct. I joked to DH that we should buy one and put it in the driveway as a fort for our son...just to keep our childhood memories alive. His family had one too (the minivan of the 60's & 70's!!)

a.sleep in...If I sleep past 7 on the weekend, I feel like my day is wasting away. My dog also never lets me sleep much longer once the sun comes up anyway...it's just good training for having kids!
b. get massages...I would truthfully rather buy shoes with the money, but massages feel so much better. And it's probably the only 90 consecutive minutes I ever spend when my brain isn't going a mile a minute about something.
c. visit my nieces/nephews...two are 20 and 23. I remember changing their diapers and making their bottles! Time goes by too fast.
d. go to the movies- we love movies, but I can't seem to devote 2 whole hours to sitting in one spot. Think of all the multi tasking I could be doing?

a. Have already been, but want badly to go back to Italy.
