Hi Everyone -

My husband and I are just starting the process and will be sending out our application next week. We were told 24 months from start to finish and now after reading all of your posts I'm wondering if the wait will be longer?? ARG!!!!!

You voiced my emotions so well! We too have had the blessings of bio children and even grandchildren. I tell myself, if this "doesn't happen" at least I've had the joy of children, others in this process have not, and I truely hurt for them. Their frustrations trying to start a family must be far worse than mine for wanting to do it "again". Having said all that rational stuff, I still feel pretty sorry for myself these days!


I am usually the optimist, soooo.....It' s gonna get better, really!!!!!

I have stayed away from forums and blogs becuase I was afraid of hearing something negative but the wait has started to really get to me. I wanted to hear from other people in the same boat as we are. We have a LID of 08/11/06, we too thought we would be traveling this fall but from what I'm seeing and reading that is highly unlikely. I'm getting very discouraged and feel like this is NEVER going to happen. It's been a rough week...sorry, I just need to get it out.

atlast, we are right there with you with an LID of 8/10/06. There are so many of us in the boat with you to hold your hand and listen when you get frustrated, so feel free to vent away!

This forum has been such a support to me during this wait. As to avoiding the negative info, I'd rather know that get to this fall and be surprised to find I'm still months away from a referral.
