Upset with Disney

I want Mulan!! Where is she? When I go to the Disney store they get defensive and tell me she's their "most popular Halloween costume", but still no shirts, no merchandise. I WANT MULAN! I WANT MULAN! I WANT MULAN! Who wants to join me in a letter writing campaign?

Try Ebay. I just checked and there are listings for Mulan nightgowns, sandals, and packages of girl's underwear. Also costumes. Good hunting!

Peeking in from the Korean board...

Have you tried ebay for the item(s)? I just did a quick search for mulan and found some international sellers (UK in particular) that have some costumes.

I also checked Disneystore and there's nothing there besides the video. Maybe if you call Disney Catalog up you can get somewhere with them. Just a thought...

Hi Lissa,

I'm with you--but I want more. I'd also like to see the 3 princesses from Mulan 2 (FWIW--that's a prety cute movie if you have a Mulan fan in your home.)

Take care,
Melissa

I did check E-bay. Yes there are costumes, yes there are night gowns...rare, but they exist. What about tee shirts and etc? I just want a princess who looks like my daughter. They have one, they need to merchandise her just like they merchandise the others.

Me, too! I also want more Jasmine stuff. (Since that's my daughters name and she looks a little like Jasi with the almond eyes and long dark hair)

Funny enough, though, Jasi is OBSESSED with the Little Mermaid right now. When we try to watch Aladdin or Mulan she wants nothing to do with it. She says "Mermaid". She wants the red-headed princess. Go figure...

If you go under the disney store, type in "create your own" under search. You can create your own tees, polos, watches with any character. Thay have 2 pages of Mulan characters that you can put on clothing. HTH

I think the movie has been "vaulted" which means it's not being produced anymore. When that happens, most merchandising ceases until the movie is "re-released".

I know that happened with Toy Story. My son wanted a Toy Story room. By the time we were redecorating, the movie was vaulted and we had to do it piece-meal.

Just wanted to add that we just got back from Disney World yesterday. I searched Downtown Disney, Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Animal Kingdom for anything Mulan w/ no luck. We still came home with tons of things for our little one but nothing from Mulan

Lisa,

I have asked this question many times at Disney and was told that Mulan is not considered a Disney Princess so the merchandise is not readily available. The costume that was out at Halloween was adorable but not for toddlers. I was bummed. I have both movies and all the Barbies, my girls love Mulan!
