Talking We"re Home!!!

We have been home for a week now. Our daughter is doing great! Some days it seems as though she has always been here. Her older brother (by 6 months) acts as though she has always been here. It is amazing to watch both. Yes it is like having twins, but he is walking and she isn't, hes is breastfeeding, she bottles, (no she wouldn't breastfeed and looked at me as though I was crazy when I tried).
I've blogged as much as I could, sites, sounds, smells, and events at Alycia makes # 7 I still need to end the trip, but I'll keep posting. Any questions the blog doesn't answer, please ask away!

Glad you made it home! Five months means you are going to be pretty busy. I thought my girls being 18mths apart was a lot. WOW! 5 older brothers mean maybe never dating?

Congratulations!

When we finally get to pick up our daughter, we will be in the same boat as you. She is exactly 6 months younger than our youngest son. He still doesn't walk yet, but I told him he has to be before we get to China, because I can't carry them both everywhere! Congrats to you and your family. I'll have to check out your blog so I can see what I'm in for.

Thanks everyone. Our little girl came to us healthy. Many many were very sick, and many more with just colds. We took our 18 month old, and once I'd wished we didn't but the rest of the time I was very glade we did. Most of the children that had other children there seemed more comfortable with the change in their life then those with just a mommy and daddy. Just saying this for those of you debating if you want to take your other children. It helps in big ways but makes for more work, this is reality when you get home too.
Like I said though there was a moment when I'd wished we just had our new baby. But only once.
